Santa Rosa Day School proudly serves kindergarten through eighth-grade students in the central and northern regions of the O'odham Nation, including the Gu Achi District, Sif Oidak District and Hickiwan District. We believe that academic success comes from strong partnerships between our parents/guardians, teachers and students working together to enhance the learning experience and create effective educational plans.

Our program promotes academic excellence, community development and the preservation of the O'odham language and culture. We provide a holistic curriculum aligned with state education standards while addressing students’ social, emotional, physical and spiritual needs. Tradition and culture are integral to the learning experiences at Santa Rosa Day School and Tohono O’odham Elementary Schools.

At Santa Rosa Day School, education is a team effort. We value and encourage the active involvement of parents/guardians and community members to support our students' growth. Our dedicated faculty and staff work closely with families to help students develop life skills and reach their full potential. Teamwork, communication and active participation create a supportive and nurturing environment.

Strategic Transformation of Education Plan (STEP)

Santa Rosa Day School implemented the Strategic Transformation of Education Plan (STEP) initiative – a digital learning portal with a blended learning approach. Our students can maximize this opportunity by accessing the digital learning portal with a 1:1 student-laptop usage ratio. This approach gives our students the advantage of integrated applications, and a robust learning strategy.

Santa Rosa Day School’s team of dedicated educators are committed to the growth and development of your children - tomorrow’s leaders.
