Santa Rosa Day School is governed by the Tohono O'odham Bureau of Indian Education Schools Board. TOBIES develops a quality educational program that ensures Santa Rosa Day School students excel academically, socially and culturally. We foster cultural preservation, promote community engagement and encourage lifelong learning.

Our mission is to educate and empower Santa Rosa Day School students within the Tohono O’odham culture of academic excellence. We ensure that students meet and exceed all state standards. Quality education is the foundation of Santa Rosa Day School’s thriving school community, and the school board provides learning resources and guidance for optimal student success.

Santa Rosa Day School collaborates with families and community members to design and apply the most effective learning and teaching strategies. We incorporate Tohono O'odham culture and traditions into our educational program to create a holistic and enriching learning environment. Students are provided various opportunities to engage with their heritage and Native identity.

We encourage parents/guardians, community members and all stakeholders to partner with Santa Rosa Day School by attending school board meetings, joining committees, and contributing valuable input and insight to shape our students’ future.
