Health Services

Santa Rosa Day School is focused on maintaining student health and safety. We follow strict healthcare policies and procedures. Students will thrive academically when teachers, staff, administrators and community members prioritize the well-being of our school community. We monitor individual student health and the overall classroom condition and provide quick communication with parents/guardians.
Student Illness
Teachers and staff are well prepared to act appropriately for students who become ill during class. Our timely response and effective care foster the student’s speedy recovery. Parents/guardians are notified immediately regarding their child’s condition so arrangements can be made for pick-up. We also work closely with local emergency services to ensure a swift and coordinated response to any medical crisis.
Administering Medication
A medication form must be completed before any medication(s) can be administered to a student. Open lines of communication with parents/guardians eliminate confusion, prevent delays and create a healthy learning environment for all students.
Counseling and Support Services
Santa Rosa Day School students can access a counselor to help with any personal crisis. We support our students' overall well-being, including maintaining their physical, mental, emotional and social health.
