Transportation

Santa Rosa Day School is committed to providing safe and efficient transportation for students. All students must follow established rules and procedures while riding the bus to ensure safety and order.
Transportation Guidelines
Strict standards of discipline are maintained at all times to uphold safety. Bus drivers have full authority over passengers and are responsible for enforcing bus rules. Students must follow all instructions and rules set by the driver. Transportation is a privilege, not a right.
Any behavior that jeopardizes the safety of students or the driver may result in an immediate loss of bus privileges, even for first-time offenders. Parents or guardians are responsible for arranging transportation to and from school if a student is suspended from the bus.
Bus Rules
- All school rules apply during bus rides to and from school and during transportation to and from school-related events.
- Students must board and disembark at their assigned bus stops. The bus will stop only at scheduled stops.
- Students must be at their designated bus stop 10 minutes before the scheduled arrival time.
- All students are required to ride their assigned school bus.
Bus Change Requests
Students must obtain a bus pass from the school office to ride an alternate bus. Parents or guardians requesting a change in their child’s pick-up or drop-off location must notify the school office in writing, by email, or via phone before noon on the day of the change. Requests must include a contact phone number.
For further questions or assistance regarding transportation, please contact the school office at 520-361-2276.
